The Andrew Andrew video review (You Tube) was on the mark - Waves of Mu is the kind of show you can only get in NYC. This hard-to-describe but incredibly smart work is the perfect balance of learning and entertainment. Amy Caron captures the neuroscience by funneling it through her unique brand of multidisciplinary performance/visual art that is best described as an "experience." Whatever it is - you should go. Went to see Amy Caron's WAVES OF MU at PS 122 last night. This sold out show delivered in a big way. Caron's work is a much like a brain, it's messy and complicated in the best way. The work cleverly manages to teach you about neuroscience through experience. The installation is incredible - that alone it worth going to see, and Caron is a firecracker of a performer - a delight!
