Something old, something new

The Rocky Mountain Art & Antiques Show, with the theme "From Old Masters to Modern Contemporary," will be held at The Salt Palace Convention Center Nov. 14-16. There will be an art auction featuring work by prominent artists such as Arnold Friberg, LeConte Stewart and Tony Rasmussen and one-of-a-kind items such as antique cars, pianos and violins. Marie Osmond is a sponsor of the show, and signed editions of her designer dolls will also be at auction. Artists working in all mediums will be participating in this exhibition: painting, photography, sculpture, pottery, jewelry and fine crafts. Industry professionals, art galleries and dealers of antique art also will be represented. Emerging artist Sabina Wise, a local Utah veteran with PTSD, will be one of the participating artists.
